*At this time and until further notice, my teaching is focused on underserved populations in the Raleigh-Durham area.
I am currently offering private and group yoga classes in the Raleigh/Cary, NC area.
I teach Gentle Yoga with a focus on relaxation, stress-reduction, and mindfulness. I integrate pranayama (breathwork) and meditation into asana (postures) to create balance, freedom, and joy in the body and mind. The best way to achieve the results that you want from Yoga, whether it be more mental clarity, peacefulness, mindfulness, or physical flexibility, is to have a practice that is tailored to suit your individual needs. My goal as a Yoga teacher is to help you create that practice.
I work with women of all ages to design a practice that assists them in discovering their unique path to wholehearted living. I encourage women to listen to and be guided by their own inner observations to achieve personal empowerment and authentic selfhood.
“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.”
The Bhagavad Gita
“Your life is a sacred journey. It is about change, growth, discovery, movement, transformation, continuously expanding your vision of what is possible, stretching your soul, learning to see clearly and deeply, listening to your intuition, taking courageous challenges at every step along the way. You are on the path… exactly where you are meant to be right now… And from here, you can only go forward, shaping your life story into a magnificent tale of triumph, of healing, of courage, of beauty, of wisdom, of power, of dignity, and of love.” ~ by Caroline Adams
