Summer in the Arboretum: A Look Back

On this last day of Summer 2016, come take a walk with me in this beautiful, inspiring public garden. The JC Raulston Arboretum at North Carolina State University is a local treasure and a worthwhile destination for all lovers of beauty and gardens. The horticultural collections and landscaping are outstanding and offer gardeners lots of take-home ideas. To me, the variety of plants gets top billing. These pictures were taken during the month of July. Don’t rush through, there are some real mind-blowing, eye-popping plants, structures, and ornaments here. Better yet, go see them for yourself. The Arboretum is open year-round and is breathtaking every single day. What’s more, it’s free! Donations are appreciated. More info here.

All photos mine. iPhone. No filter. Just fun.
